We're on the search for Architectural Assistants with 1-3 years of technical experience. The ideal applicant is versed in the production of design development and construction drawings and has had exposure to projects on site. They must have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the technical design team in the production of construction drawings
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and/or consultants
Create architectural design solutions in response to client’s requirements
Formulate conceptual design schemes up to contract documentation
Work on projects from Design Development, Contract Documentation and Construction
Conduct site visits, prepare site reports and solutions to site issues
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Architect
Assist the Senior Architect in coordinating with clients and allied professionals
Attend client/coordination meetings with the Senior Architect
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture
1-3 years of experience in the technical aspects of design
Has had exposure to design development, tender, contract documentation and/or construction phases
Excellent written and verbal command of English
Licensure is an advantage, but not required
Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, 3D Modelling and Rendering is required
Proficiency in Revit and 3DS Max is preferred
Ability to work with a team, but also independently and responsibly
Can handle multiple projects efficiently
Must have excellent design sense, initiative and determination. Position would suit someone looking to consolidate their skills and grow into their role longer term.
