Plaza + Partners in collaboration with WTA Architecture + Design reimagines the design and master plan of the historical City of Manila by introducing sustainable design principles and carving out open common spaces for the residents of Manila, in an effort to update its practically planned urban envelope as the city moves into a more global future. The architectural approach was geared towards successfully designing spaces to congregate, collaborate and crowd source ideas which are fundamental to innovation. Vital functions were assigned to specific spaces; public space for congregation, semi-public space for
collaboration and private space for sharing ideas.
